2nd Fridays | ArtWalk | Alive After 5

Founded in 2007 by the Appalachian Spirit Gallery, Marion’s ArtWalk celebrates with art, crafts, music, food, and fun. Join us at 5:00 p.m. for 2nd Fridays at Appalachian Spirit Gallery and move through businesses and events in downtown Marion. Download a 2014 Downtown Business and ArtWalk Guide.

From April until December, the 2nd Fridays ArtWalk and “Alive after Five” begins at Appalachian Spirit Gallery and meanders through shops and restaurants from one end of downtown Marion to the other — art, crafts, music, jewelry, special events, exhibits, and more.

Music on the Porch | Music in the Parlor

On Second Fridays, Appalachian Spirit Gallery hosts live music on the porch (or in the parlor). Regional musicians perform a variety of styles, from classical to Celtic to bluegrass. In addition, the town of Marion continues Second Friday events with its own Second Fridays Concert Series.

Members or guest artists are invited to teach classes on subjects from technique to art history. If you are interested in teaching a class, please contact the gallery.
